Got an email from JD. No word for one month and suddenly she's engaged. How 'bout that.
Good for her, though I can't help but feel a little sad. She was an escape into another world, some place glamorous and beautiful and wild. Life was a masquerade and I enjoyed every minute. And now she's gone and shackled herself. Pft.
